Bashir Ahmad Challenges Peter Obi’s Dissatisfaction with Supreme Court Verdict
In the wake of the Supreme Court’s ruling affirming President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 polls, presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, voiced his discontent with the judgment, deeming it a significant blow to public trust in the judiciary.
During a press conference, Obi stated that the Supreme Court’s decision appeared to contradict substantial evidence of election irregularities, technical discrepancies, and non-compliance with INEC regulations, as well as allegations of perjury, identity theft, and forgery.
In response to Obi’s statements, Bashir Ahmad, representing the All Progressives Congress (APC), questioned Obi’s next course of action.

Taking to his social media platform, Ahmad probed where Obi intended to seek recourse, given his dissatisfaction with the Supreme Court’s ruling.
