Senator Lee Maeba has said that Wike has directed all the Rivers House of Assembly members to vote for Tinubu
Senator Lee Maeba has come out to say that the Governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike has instructed all the Rivers House of Assembly members and local government chairmen in the state to go and vote for All Progressive Congress presidential candidate, Mr Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Lee Maeba who spoke to our correspondent yesterday, said Governor Wike has been going through the back door and sitting with the members of APC despite still being a PDP governor. Senator Maeba also stated that he heard a report that Woke told all local government chairmen, House of Assembly members and any stakeholder near him to vote for Tinubu in the upcoming election.
He said;
“Wike said that he discovered that we are in alliance with the APC and planned to do a joint rally with them in order to fill the stadium, that’s a lie. We are not working for the APC, we are working for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, we are PDP.”
“We also heard that he gave instructions to all Local Government Chairmen, House of Assembly members and stakeholders close to him that they should go and vote for Tinubu. So we are not the ones engaging with the APC, he is the one passing through the back door to go and sit with them.
